DSM love or hate?

I have had my eclipse for a little over a month and a half, and have already managed to break my passenger door handle, killed a set of tires on the front and messed my rear-end up(the back right wheel is at an angle), and most recently my car stopped starting. DSM's it’s never a I kind of like them its either I love mine or hate it. Some days I wish I would have bought another car.

not trying to hate or anything...

i'm just wondering out loud here, but 99% of that seems to be driver error, not DSM error [although the pass door handle thing is a known problem]. if the DSM is so cool that it is causing you to spin the tires and drive to an extent as to [slide into a curb and] tweak your rear tire, and also tweak your engine in this fury of driving i could see blaming it. hence the love hate is definitly there. i love mine thru and thru. i just got new tires and my mechanic was out in it [we are buddies] getting some snax for his shop and he got mad complements [and he's a short, skinny guy with a mustache and perma-grease]. i get compliments a lot too. i take fgood care of my ride so i can keep getting complements ;)

The wonderful thing was I did no ruin the tires or the rear end. A friend was driving my car around the block with me(weak moment) and he hit the curb puttin a bump in the side of the tires and fucking the rear end. He is going to pay for it in a month(gets money from parents).

but you still did go thru one set of front tires in a month, right? and what's the starting problem, get some info up here so we can help :)

i love both my cars whether they are on jackstands or on the street! i would never think about getting a different car if mine ever broke down, well i do like skylines :iceslolan or maybe a supra, but i would always own an eclipse! love them too much!

i think that 2g eclipses look siccer than 90% of all the cars out there.

and the only other 10% i'm attracted to because they cost more than a condo in so-cali [and that ain't cheap ;)]

I love them but aggggg. A lot of shit has gone wrong when I just got the car and I am in between jobs right now.
