I Hate Friends!

I hate FRIENDS. Yep that's right I hate the show probably more than anything else on this earth. And why do I hate it, b/c I can't take a shit without reading, seeing, or hearing about the precious Friends series finale. Who gives a fucking rats ass! It's a TELEVISION SHOW! Fuck! Everybody needs to get off all of these peoples jocks.

The funny thing about it though is that Jennifer Aniston will probably be the only one that will have a surviving career after this shithole of a show is over. Sorry, but in my opinion none of these people can act all that well anyways. And now I'm not going to be able to find anything enjoyable on tv anymore b/c this show is going to be on 24hrs a day on every damn channel. Ok rants over.

The thing with comedy sitcoms is that the reruns just kill the jokes, specially when they keep reapeating them over and over and over and over :confused: Ah well, too bad some people follow sitcoms like it's their religion

I like Friends. I don't follow it religiously, but when it's on I have no objection sitting down and watching it. Series finale? Blah, just another episode IMHO...

Theres a NZ Idol as well. I can proudly say i havent watched a single episode of it. so far. As for the rest - mainstream TV sucks ass full stop. Just about the only purpose the TV antenna serves in this house, is to get the news.

haha My girlfriend and her friend were glued to the Tv last night for the Friends Finale... 15 mins into the show I was fast asleep. Ive probably seen 3 episodes in my whole life... Im not a big TV fan except for the Simpsons,South Park, Sapranos other than that I dont have much time to sit and watch the boob tube.

I like Friends and Seinfeld, but like Jimster I'm not a fanatic, if it's on when I'm watching TV I'll watch it, but if the TV's off, it stays off. The shows good but, all the attention its getting bout the series fanale is jus annoying. Hate the media... :loser: :flipa: :chair:

Yes I have seen the show and that's why I can't stand it. But I'm far from gay. The only reason I watched it was b/c my roomate use to watch it religiously and it was always when I was eating dinner. I finally complained enough and he quit watching it.

I'm with Jimmy on this one. I'll watch it if I happen to be watching TV at that time. I don't go out of my way for it except for this one. I like to see how a series ends that I've watched at least on and off over the years.

There was a lot of hype surrounding the ending though. That kind of hype is made only because there are a lot of people who give a shit. Kind of like the superbowl. Lots of people want to see it, so the media plays it up.

:iagree: the last time they had a black person on the show was like 2 years ago or something, not too sure because I don't follow it. Anyways it was like after 7 years that they finally had a black character and it was because of rumores that the show was racist...

No black characters? Ross (one of the characters) had a girlfriend who was black for half the season or so. Its as racist as Martin or Living Single ever was. In other words - not.


The lack of a main character not being black, white, yellow or whatever color you want to pick does not mean that a show is racist. :rolleyes: If thats what the term racism has become, then the word has lost all meaning.

gee, that show was on for how many years? And I have never even seen part of one episode. Does this mean I missed something in my life? Probably, but hey, it's all smoke and mirrors. And the funny thing is, I work on movie and commercial productions here in the great white north, and have yet to see any of the productions I have worked on, other than on set.
Too busy making things happen, to bother seeing how they turned out. Sad
On the other hand, people who have lived the past several years of their lives with the same characters on TV, and have nothing better to do with their time than worry about those characters have two things going for them. 1) way too much free time on their hands, and 2) obviously have no concept of stress in their lives. Good on them.

Lets just hope that in place of this show, something worthwhile, and educational comes on. Another Simpsons maybe. who knows

The show should have been called "Friend Swapers". Every new season was just a new chance to switch who was dating who. The show ended because they have no more relationship combos to work with.

As much as I don't like Friends, Sex and the City is the worst motherf*cking show ever...... by far......
