well clean up with water is more for acrylic paints, then for enamals use thinners, more cleaning dump it outside in the brush.

If you really want to flush the ACRYLIC paint, then mix it with A LOT of water. Paint:Water at least 1:10.
But usually the paint goes into contianers and it's delivered to special stores for decomposition.

Excess paint, cleanup leftovers, thinner, everything goes down the sink!

that's big pollution. If you are using enamels the pollution is 10 times greater.

Maybe funny but it's true (my experiance): Try pissing on the grass. For a week, always in the same spot. The grass will start too look like it's been burned.

You get similar effect if you throw thinner on the grass (but this is worse). But the whole darn thing then goes into the soil and from there to 'under water' and from there to your pipes again.

I keep my enamel's dirty thinner in an old bottle. It must evaporate then i'm left with crust which i throw away along with the bottle. The acrylic gets dilluted and poured down the laundry room's sink.

That's because it WAS burned...by the high acidity of your urine.

But why waste it when you can thin Tamiya acrylics with it and it makes a great replacement for Micro-Set...
