Street Racing Syndicate(SRS)

I heard of this game but never saw it on shelves. just wondering if anyone played it and if it is any good. i think it came out like 3 months ago or something like that

Namco owns the rights to it now. The game should be released somewhere near Christmas 2004 and early 2005.

yeah it looks pretty hot. hopefully it doesn't get pushed back even more cause i'd get more pissed.

yea sorry i found out about the namco pickup after i posted, so it looks as if you'll get the game sooner or later.

I might get it, it better not be another NFS:U.

about a year ago the origional publisher 3DO went bankrupt, it was supposed to come out last xmas i tihnk, but since 3do went out i thought it was lost and never going to turn up, i guess namco got the rights for it now, and it does look like nfs:u, a lot like it, but i dont tihnk they have style points wich is a very good thing!

im not sure about nfs:u2, has anyone ever played the low budget game 'street legal' or 'street legal redline' it was were you modded your car, and streetraced, but you could cruise around the city and race were you wanted, and i heard that nfs:u2 may be something like this but have no idea, if it has the ability to go werever you want i may give it a try

Need For Speed Underground is coming out in November and yes it will have the cruise the city feature. You will have to drive through the city and find where the races are and once you get enough respect people will tell you where the cooler and more popular races are. Thats what I know.

i don't know about that game. It looks okay, but it seems a little weird with all that womanizing going on

ya i heard about the womanizing thing, probably could've left that out because its a racing game, you buy it to race, if you want girls, you buy porno games from japan.

I know NFSU2 is supposedbe a game where it's a "live interactive city you cuise in," very similer to SRS. I have heard on the game boards that after 3DO went bankrupt, etc, EA ripped off the idea for NFSU2 since they never extpect it to be realeased.

well I've just read an article of SRS in XBOX Mag. SRS has a free roming world with full dameage. also you can tweak your setup more that what NFSU ever did. that and there are cops (kinda sounds like Midnight Club series). it is going to have a replay (NFSU didn't) and yes there will be Online (XBOX LIVE I know) racing where you can put your car on the line and race for slips... on a side note if your lookin for porn games there are a few comming out for the box. and there are a lot of "sluts/Hoes" on the street circuit. so it's just natural that this would be added. another game to look out for next month in the US is Juiced. 7.3 Trillion customization options and 49 licensed cars with damage. also Midnight Club 3 has full damage and the "Bling-Bling" parts as well (spinners and Hydrolocs) also new cars like the H2 Hummer.

well it says in my Xbox mag for the Xbox relalese that Juiced comes out 9/6... but it may have been pushed back to 10/5... I was just giving out the info I was aware of at the time....
