Thanks for the helpful tips and answers regarding my 2000 Rodeo CEL codes. You guys where right on the money with the intake gasket problem. I currently have 90k Kilos (Canada) and have been told by some people that this shuld be covered under the warranty. Most of the Isuzu dealerships in Toronto have moved out. I was wondering if anyone has heard of a good spot to take my truck to. I would even go so far as to take it to Buffalo for service.

I just had this problem on my rodeo too. IT was around 80k kms though. I ended up having it done at a local shop and having my warranty cover some of it but I recently called the isuzu dealership in mississauga to get my vehicles service history and I asked them about this. They said my rodeo has a powertrain warranty for either 5 years or 100k kms and that the gasket problem would have been covered under warranty.

I would assume yours would be also.

You Saturn/Saab/? dealerships use to be known as Saturn/Saab/Isuzu. Saturn is the company that honours Isuzu warranties in Canada. Have all you service records handy. GM is trying to avoid honouring the warranty. If they say you have too much aftermarket parts or non-Isuzu service done on the car, refer to section 77 of the competition act here
http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/C-34/35460.html. This is the Canadian law that protects you from dealers that try to deny warranty due to aftermarket parts.

If you want work not under warranty done and don't want to go to an saturn dealer, i'm not sure, but Honda should be able to service a Rodeo.

If anybody knows any good mechanics that will do work on a Rodeo in eastern Toronto please post the name.
