Hey this is a general question, i have a 2000 Grand Am with 100k on it, how much longer should i expect it to last? I have a choice between that and a sunfire that has only 40K, but i love the grand am, Is it worth it to get the grand am ??? Please leave feed back

Just follow your manufacuture's recommended maintenace schedule. If you baby your car, it will last. You can do alot of things on your own to it. Like:
1) Check and/or change your fuel filter
2) Chemically clean your fuel system
3) Check and/or change your oil and air filter
4) and much much much more.
Just regular stuff that you think is important to have the things that make it run, work. Its all up to you.

To me, it would depend. What year is the sunfire? According to statistic, 98 and older, aren't too swift. Where as 99+ are better. (not sure how true it is). Also, it depends on how the Grand Am was taken care of up to 100k. It is all in how the car was driven, and how it was taken care of.

my 2000 ga has 145,000 miles on it , runs better than the day i bought it. I had a 85 grand am lasted longer than 300k miles.
