oil 4 LT1

what kind of oil is best for a 95 LT-1 i currently run Castrol 10w-30 full synthetic

Big opinionated question here.. Your not gonna get a straight answer!
Some people say synthetic, some people say regular.. Everyone has their fav brand of oil..

I dont like castrol.. I use Pennzoil sythetic in my cars.. Amsoil or redline are also excellant performance oils

i generally use catrol just cause theyve been around for awhile. the general concensus in the oil changing world (jiffy lube and the like) is that mobil is the best oil money can buy...

i am a mobil guy myself, use regular 5W-30 in my engines, and never had a complaint, however when i build up the 302, shell be on a steady diet of mobile 1 5W-30. because to me thats the best oil out there.

most of the people on all the forums swear by mobil 1 synthetic, however, i couldnt find it the last time i was getting a service on my car so i used castrol magnatec and believe me when i say wow what a difference. the engine ran smoother and i could swear i felt a bit more power even :p then again that could be the whole service and not just the oil, but this is the first time i used this oil and the first time there been such a huge improvement after a service.

i worked at tire lube express at super wal-mart, just applied at jiffy lube, all the people ive talked to have said the same thing. oil is one thing, when you start talking about additives is when it gets fun, but i think that for the most part mobil is the best way to go...if you can afford it...
