Hey whats up? No one cares about the 328 ? This is my favorite Ferrari. I just love the shape of this car! There were 1344 328 GTBs made in total. Isn't it just gorgeous?

I think it was ruined by a guy with a mustashe that wore a Hawaiian shirt. (Magnum PI)

Actually I love the car, and probably watched the show for the Ferrari. But no one else seems to like it too much, they complain about a plastic body?
308? they look kinda similar, except maybe the 308 has the removable top panel?

Both 308 and 328 were available as GTB-fixed head and GTS-targa/removable roof.
The 308 was the first car out in 1975. Yes it had a fibreglass body until 1977. Then they changed to steel but those rare early "plastic" cars are more desirable now since they dont rust!
Magnums car was probably steel - maybe there were no fibreglass 308s imported in the US at all. Then, in 1985 the 328 came out which had a slightly altered body in the details (more beautiful in my opinion!) and more powerfull engine among other changes. Then, in 1989 the 348 came out which was a completely different design and in my opinion almost an ugly Ferrari.

Wow, thaks for the intel, the 328 does have a smoother design over the 308. Sometimes a good polimer plastic can be advantageous over fiberglass(really brittle) and steel (rusty). I guess its the word "plastic" that makes it sound cheap to some.

The reason why the polyester or fiberglass as you call it in the states is more desirable is because those cars were lighter and because of the dry sump and are faster than the later cars including the GTBI/GTSI 2 valve models. The 308 four valve cars are faster. I think it was 1980 pr 1983 that Ferrari started to rust proof thier cars. The 328 might look close to the 308 but it is very different from the suspension to the motor which of course was increased to 3.2 liters, gear ratios ergonomics etc. The 328GTB is a car that I will be in the hunt for very soon, I sold my 328GTS and regret it.

Wow! I just checked after many months and it's alive! (the forum I mean)
Let us know when you find your GTB! (...details of price and location would be appreciated too...). As you know GTBs are much rarer than GTS models and a proper sports car in my mind at least is always fixed-head. So my choice would be a GTB. Rosso Corsa or maybe nero... hmmm
