HEY HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME...

I have a 1989 Chev Cavalier with a 2.0L, 4 cylinder engine with DSI or direct spark ignition. The car will run for a week or so and then i'll be driving one day or it will either die with driving, or when i park it for a bit and then go to start it again it won't start. It cranks like it's out of gas. I always know when it's going to die on me because the radio cuts in and out like the station isn't set quite right. I've replaced tested my altenator, replaced my fuel injector, a new crank shaft censor and it's still doing the same thing. I had someone who suggested it might be the exterior coils on my distributor but instead i have a DSI, no distributor. I"M STUMPED AND READY TO SET THIS #@!$%$^&* car on fire! Can someone please reply if they have any ideas or suggestions. Thanx so much.

My '89 has done similar things.. the first time, I had to replace the Ignition Control Module, located under your two coils. The second time, it would randomly die while running, like the key were switched off, i ended up tracking the problem to a faulty ECM, located behind the glove box. Hope this helps!
