Gas Prices!!!

OK I know this topic has been discussed off and on lately and I am curious what everyone is paying across the country. Within the past month or so here in SE Washington state gas prices have gone up quite a bit. Last night my dad and I were out driving and saw the local Tesoro go from 2.03 for cheap stuff up to 2.11 for 87, 2.23 for 89, and 2.33 for 91 (i think 91)!!! I can't believe these gas prices, its fucking crazy.
So basically, what is everyone paying for their gas around the nation...include location, price, and what type of gas?
Also, Ami...how much is gas down near Klamath Falls? Just curious for when we come down.
P.S. Mods, if you feel this isn't the right place or has been discussed too much lately feel free to close it, but I am just curious how much everyone else is paying.

to all those wasting money buying premium on yoru stock engine... do us all a favor and buy 89.
unless you have 10:1+ compression, run nitrous, turbo, or a supercharger, you dont need anything over 89 octane

Atlanta, GA:
REG: $1.78
MID: $1.88
Premium: $1.98
I thought that our prices were too much, but I would really hate to be in Cali or the west coast for that matter. I only drive the Civic right now because the Prelude drinks gas and it has to use Premium.

Gas prices suck on the west coast.
HOWEVER, when the gas prices get real bad I just think about how much nicer it is here compared to europe, over $10 dollars a gallon (American currency) last time my sister went over there she said its like gold or something, people jiggle the little gas pump thing to try and get the last couple drops.
Talk about getting GOUGED, youd have to sell off your house and a kidney just to fill your tank!

but also in europe you can mostly walk everywhere. so thats gotta be nice, i'd probably walk a lot if i could and reserve driving for something fun to do, cuz i like to drive but traffic aint fun.

Shit man, I wish i could still ride my bike everywhere. I live 10 miles from *the big town* though (2.5 miles from the town I live *in*). When I lived on campus I rode ~25miles/day, just no more than 1 mile at a time :)
I paid 19.50 for 10.6 gallons, you can tell I didn't really want to pay that much, since I was in my CRX (which has a 10.5gal tank I think). That is mid grade, which is the cheapest in Iowa (ethanhol discount).

In olympia washington it's like $1.95/gal for 87. Take into account that in oregon you can't pump your own gas either though, so that alone makes it a touch more expensive. I have friends in portland that cross over to vancouver to fuel up just to save the extra 20-30 cents.

i don't think them pumping it really has anything to do with the price. just went down to cali last month. it was $1.87 here and it avg. $2.20 (self serve) there.
i think it's cheaper there because you guys have sales tax, which we do not have. cali has sales tax as well...but i'm still not suprised at the price.

I'll tell you what, these gas prices make me want to go out and smack some of those left wing lunatics around. I have had to listen to some the most politicaly moronic things come out of peoples mouths living in the bay area. They all flock to sanfrancisco to discrace there country and the soldiers that protect it.
Here is one of the most comon idiotic things I hear "Bush only went to Iraq so he could steal the oil" I have heard this so many times I want to punch people when they say it, but usualy refrain to just asking if they have a brain.
Presedents have never been re-elected for making gas prices go through the roof, so we must conclude that the 15 BILLION dollars we have paid so far should have bought us enough oil for $0.50 a gallon 100 octane fuel instead of rebuilding and policing a fucked off piece of shit in the middle of no were that in my viewpoint we should be robing for oil. The money were spending on this war is coming from all over, however a large majority of these funds are coming from GASOLINE TAXES so if bush is robbing oil from iraq (And by the way, iraq aint payin back any of that 15Billion) why are gas prices so high?

just 10 miles from GTA, Arco is the cheapest at 2.13 yesterday in FC and 2.09 in SM. those two stations are maybe 4 miles apart but only because you have to zig zag to get there.
Where i work its like 2.30 for the cheapstuff ... and everywhere else is somewhere inbetween 2.20 to 2.40 depending on how close to the freeway and in what city your in.

I read the other day that in Venezuala (sp) that gas is $0.05 / Litre (yes that says five cents) that the government doesn't tax gas heavily as a way to give back to the people!!!
In Kuwait and in Egypt they are paying $0.25/liter.
and I'm paying 94 cents!
Geezuz.

Ps> time to get out my mountain bike...work is 8kms away...16kms a day...I'll be in boffo shape by the end of summer! :)
