My GS is acting up again. There is this funky clicking noise from under the hood. It seems to be located around my belts, possibly a bad bearing in a pully. Would this make the clicking sound I described?

Check your tension on the belts, then try some dressing

Yea it's probably the tension on the belts like ashah said. I just replaced my power steering belt, and it was clicking for a while until I tightened it up a bit.

Thats what my dad said, but how would I find out if thats what it is? I guess i should first check my tension and if that doesnt fix it......

Your EAR
If it is coming from the valvecover then its the lifters, otherwise listen for where its coming from

Do you only hear this when the car is cold and warming up to normal operating temperature

you can get better oil to reduce lifter tick

it happens all the time. warm cold, no matter it always clicks. But is seems to be in rhythm with my belts, which i suppose could still be my lifter though.

Tighten your PS belt, that seems to be the one that causes the most problems
