Who here knows how big of a shot you can run safely on a B16 with stock internals.

Generally speaking honda motors can handle 50% more hp, before you star fucking things up. For example, a b18b motor has 142 hp, thus you can safely run about a 70 shot of N2O, but I wouldn't recommend it, I would stay more at 50, or 60 shot, just to be safe. What b16 motor do you have, and how much hp does it have stock. Take that number and cut it in half and that will give you the most you would want to spray.

ive always heard 75shot max for any b-series. before i got my nitrous i called zex.com to see what they thought, they said 75shot w/stock internals on a b18c1

I have the JDM B16A it is suppose to have 160HP. If i cut that in half that would be a 80 shot. That seems a little big. I think When I get it I will go with a 60 shot.

You could potentally run a 80 shot but like I said that would be Tops. To stay safe I wuld say run a 50-60 shot, you should be ok with that.

With a 60 shot on my B16 with some modds, you know the kind. Intake, headers, full exhaust, flywheel, extra gas, all the goodies. Do you think I could beat a WRX??

maybe. I don't know, the awd in those things make them launch damn hard. By best friend just got a o4 wrx, and it's got some balls. My bet would be no, but I don't really know, cuz they have about 230-240 hp, and about the same tourqe. But the civic is def. lighter. all in all I think the awd, and high tourque would come out on top.

Maybe I could get him if we started with a rolling start. Or raced on the freeway starting out at like 65 or so.

If you do go with a 75 shot, you should go with a wet kit and some good tuning.
