Alpine CVA-1003

Monitor on my Alpine CVA-1003 has a mind of it's own. Sometimes it will come out and go fully upright, but most the time it only goes to about 45 degrees. Anybody have any experience with this.

how long have you had it for cause my friend had something like that with his head unit, all he did was take it in and the guys just replaced the motor and it flips up all the way all the time.

I bought the car used and I think the head unit is about 1 1/2 to 2 yrs old. I guess I should call Alpine. Thanks
