Do you remember them? I, unfortunately do, and that would be why I want to drive a screwdriver through my heart right now. Well, that might be a bit difficult, but you get the idea. So, anyone else?

I usually remember the scary ones and the sad ones. I like watching horror movies so I usually have a nightmares. They don't really bother me, I kind of find them...... interesting. :D

For the most part yes. Some I would rather forget some are kinda' nice. What is really freaky are the ones that are so real after you wake up they are almost like memories rahter than a dream.

i can remember my dreams for the most part. but only certain parts...not the whole thing...

on another note: i hate when your dreaming and someone wakes you up. your in the REM stage of sleep, or the deepest part of sleep, and somone says your name and you wake....have you gone through this awful mess? your whole body is incredably sore and your head really hurts...:bloated: ...it sux

Which is really funny when you're trying to explain your dream to someone. :D

I remember some but not all and then only pieces.

I usually remember most of my dreams. They are always in full colour and are so realistic sometimes (even if a bit bizarre! :p ). Sometimes it’s really hard when you wake up to remember that it was only a dream and not reality.

I actually had a really strange dream last night. I was going around peoples houses counting how many copies of Lord of the Rings they had! Yes, I know I’m strange! :p :hehehe:

Yep, I remember my dreams, and sometimes I wish I didnt :(
2 nights ago for example, I woke up and wanted to be hit by a truck...
Alot of the dreams I remember are usually about love (mostly sad dreams, but like 1 or 2 a month are good), fighting, trying to keep from being killed, etc.

I dont remember my dreams. Especially since I dont put any stock into them. They dont represent reality and have no bearing on the direction my life takes.

Most of the time I don't remember them, but when I do it's usually the bad/sad ones or ones I would just rather not remember.

And some of those, if I ever told a pschycologist I would probably be commited or something because they are seriously screwed up.

I once had a nightmare without a dream attached. It was really weird. I had just fallen asleep, no more than a few minutes, and I woke up suddenly with the panic-y, sweaty, jittery feeling. But no dream; no images or sounds or anything...

Most dreams are a result of something that has happened and in some cases a premonition. Of course they do get mangled and bent by our minds and come out rather silly. We also dream every night, but not always remember. I remember several of mine, and I remember one dream about a year ago which was very close to a premonition, and it really freaked me out.....here's the story.....

One night I dreamed I went to Rainbows End (Adventure park in Auckland NZ), at Rainbows End I clearly remember riding on the log flume ride, and I dreamed that we got stuck 1/2 way through the ride because something went wrong.

Next day, (back in the real world) on the news, fire brakes out on Log Flume ride at Rainbows End (some of you in the Auckland area might remember), now this really freaked me out, was this a coinsidence or a premonition?

Firstly, of all the things to dream of, I dreamed of Log Flume ride at Rainbows End, secondly, of all things the same thing made news the following day. wow

The ones that get me the most are the ones that involve some sort of impact such as a bad car crash. I have on that still re-occurs from time to time. I hit a tree on my motorcross bike years ago and still live it. I can vividly see that damn tree as my face smacks it hard. thank god I had a full faced helmet on but still wound up with a sever concussion.

Will I remember I had a dream I was driving up to Auckland (In my Mondeo:D) and a plane crashed out of the sky and right onto my car, the next day (IN reality) a helicopter crashed onto the Auckland motorway (This was last year)

What year was the log flume fire????

deja vu - now that's a freaky thing, it still freaks me out heaps.

There was something on TV a while ago about deja vu, and I don't think it was a result of a dream, not sure what caused it, but was quite interesting.

2.45 am.....Right now I wish I was dreaming.I get weird work related dreams.....my all time favourite....I was sitting up in bed with my wife and the four cheese production lines that I manage were all converging over the bed...the cheese was dropping on my legs....the control monitor was beside the bed,but just out of reach....perhaps there is a hidden meaning...?

I can almost always remember my dreams. But they are almost always strange, abstract strings of events with little objects and phrases patched in that I have heard or seen the day before. Like this for example...
I watched Jurassic Park III (God, what a horrid predictable movie, but thats another thread altogather)
I hung out with my friend Ben who drives a Rexy
It was raining and I lost traction on my front tires for a sec going around a curve.

In the dream I was driving around Glasgow (Its a town near Bowling graan) and I kept sliding all over the place and I had to fight it just to like drive around the parkinglot. Then I park and go into Blockbuster, when I come out there's a WRX parked behind me but the boot lid is really long and sticks out over my boot. There is a strange lookin Satallite phone in my passenger seat and a bunch of skater guys are hangin around my car. It turns out that they killed someone and hid them in my trunk or somthing like that, then in the dream I talk to my friend Ben and he sais the exact same thing happened to him....

Any one out there Major in Psych in collage? Tell me what it all means!!!

Sorry for bringing this back form page 3, but I wanted to say something!

My dreams are mostly in black and white and I rarely if ever see faces. It's weird, I know, but that's the way I dream. I know who people are I just don't see their faces. Also my dreams are mostly just products of what happened to me during the day. One dream I had recently was about me missing several English assignments which was what I had thought happened to me during the previous day.

One last thing, there was a study done on the content of men and women's dreams. Here are the results and it seems like they fit what most people posted.

Men's dreams are mostly violent. Sex is dreamed about much more rarely.
Women's dreams are mostly about relationships, not necessarily about sex.

The study holds true to me. Of course, there will always be exceptions. :D
