I presently own a Kaw eliminator 1000. It's a nice bike and was pretty much the fastest thing around when it was produced in 87.
I'm looking to upgrade to a newer and faster bike. But I still like the style of the "sit up" bikes. I still haven't become used to the lean forward type of todays sport/street bikes...
Does anyone here own a vmax, or a magna, or something comparable?
Can anyone recommend to me a new bike that's known for getting off the line quick. Very preferably a non sport/street bike?'
For a vtwin I hear yamaha road warriors are quick, but I know the dohc beats a vtwin everytime. So I'm leaving towards the vmax.
Any advice would be much appricated..

The vmax will make you look over your shoulder to make sure your ass is still on the thing.

yes I have ridden a couple, very fast, noticeably more lowend torque than my R1. Try to get a 97+ vmax, lower years I have heard have a couple problems.

What abotu a 600cc bike. The F4is are fairly sit up style. And look quite nice.
