Need to pass smog on swap help!!!

i couldnt get to pass my HC and CO by far i got 319 when the limit is 130 for HC... 8.46 when the limit was .73 ok so im goin to do the an oil change check timing and adjust valves (dont know how that will help) n i also came accross this CRC Guaranteed to pass Emissions fuel additive what else could i do to pass the free retest that i get. its a b17 in it. I heard the catalytic converter only lowers NO ppm so that wouldnt help i wouldnt think but oxygen sensors i dont know
