How come a 96 Maxima so cheap?

I'm asking because someone is trying to sell me a 96 Maxima GXE with just 4900$! 106K mileage. I took it to mechanics for check, and everything turned out to be good. And the apprerance is good, I also checked the VIN, and it's clean. First owner. Mostly highway mileage, he bought a new car.

Can anyone tell me what kind of problems it might be?
