I want to know the cheapest route to get my foxbody 90 gt into the low 13s. So far I have just removed the silencer, added pulleys and a CAI. I plan on a x-pipe, gears, & some cheater slicks. Do you think this will be all I need, think this alone will get the car there? ( 5 speed)

You may get close or atleast be in the 13's with those mods, depends alot on how you drive and if you can lauch a manual trans. But you may want to look into an intake and tb or atleast a new plenum. Some higher ratio roller rockers would be a nice upgrade too. Just have to know a little bit about your computer to make those kind of mods.

What about the a stroker kit? seemslike you can get them for as low as about $800 for them, i dunno how hard the install is, but that should be a big boost right?

Your mod choices look good. Do those, but add a shot of nitrous and you'll hit the 12's.

That would be for the bare essentials, of unassembled parts. You will then have to have your block machined and built with the supplied parts. That's where things start to add up.

A stroker kit is basically the rebuilding of a motor. I would not reccomend this unless you are comfortable rebuilding motors or are paying a machine shop to do it. Not exactly cheap.
Add a full exhuast with LT headers, 4.10 gears, slicks, strip the car a lil and you should be able to see high 13's if ya clutch can take the launches. That would be the cheapest way.

I agree with GTstang. The Mustangs are very restricted out of the factory. If you can get air in and air out more efficiently (ie- intake, heads, exhaust) you should easily see 13's.
Aside from that, other ways way to help get there is to lose and shift weight. I'm not saying go to Amazon.com and order The South Beach Diet or stop eating pasta, beer and pizza. I'm saying find a used alum. driveshaft, strip some sound deadning material, get the battery to the trunk (with a kit), fiberglass hood, lose the A/C system, go from power steering to manual rack and shaft, light weight seats, alum. wheels (ie-Welds), etc, etc.
Alot of people are quick to spend your money on power, but don't forget these babies are 3330-3400 lb pigs out of the blocks to start. If I'm not mistaken I believe the general rule of thumb is every 100 lbs lost will be a tenth lost in ET. (with traction of course).
Some of the weight ideas are more extreme than others, but that's the price of ET's my friend.
Bud.

I put on a 75mm BBK throttle body and manually honed out the intake plenum (elbow). The internal castings inside are pretty rough and grinding them smooth with a dremel is free. If you swap out your throttle body make sure you port match it. I had to take about 3/16 of material out when I made the swap. I noticed a nice pickup in throttle response and a deeper rpm range. More air in = more horse power, probably 10-12 extra ponies.

On stock heads/intake you would pick up maybe 15 horsepower at peak by moving to a 347. You would make a lot more torque and it would shift the powerband left 500-750 RPM's. Not worth it, save your money for a cheap used blower kit. You can pick up a used S-trim for less than 2 grand, combine that with full exhaust and some good tires and you will be in the 12's with relative ease.
