Aerial Amplifier on 2001 Spider

Hello,

I've finally managed to get a decent amp etc for my car stereo. Unfortunately, the radio signal strength ain't so good. The stereo in the car when I bought it was a 3rd party one and there was no problem with the radio on it. Anyone know if one of the wires on the loom is actually a signal amplification wire?

Any help much appreciated.
