ok check it out my i was messing around yesterday and found that my cam shaft on the exaust side had jumped one tooth and that my timeing belt was badly streched well i get up this morning and go to get a new belt i get back and put it on now my car isnt in time at all it will start up and run but if you rev it and let off if dies allsoo its verry slugish geting up too RPM untill about 3500 or soo and ideas???? i need some help realy bad right now..

well your timing is off. my gsr had the same problem and did the same things when the timing was off. Take your timing belt off again and make sure everything is TDC (top dead center). On your cam gears and crank there are arrows, make sure they are all pointing straight up and then slide your belt on there. If you get it right then you'll know, if not, try again. :)

im taking everything apart but when your puting it in time it says on the 2 cams to have the word top at the top and have the 2 timeing marks straight tward each other well the problem being that the marks are not pointing at each other when the word up is where its suposed to be lol i know im confusing my self now but im starting to get realy upsetcan you tell me where the cam gears should be placed? cause the freakin book dont
