Well, I've owned an Acura Integra, Honda Accord, and now, a 1992 Ford Mustang GT. IF you choose to get the 'stang (and I'm not going to try to sway you toward anything, it should be up to your personal preference, go test drive all the ones you are considering, and see for yourself what you like best), but if you end up getting the Mustang, let me recommend you a good year and make. Definitely stay away from 1993. I believe it was 1990 when they changed to the new 16" 5 spoke wheels from the 15" turbine style wheels. I personally like the 16" 5 spoke a lot better than the older style, but the turbine style isn't bad either. They switched from carburator to fuel injection I THINK in 1988, so you should definitely get 1988 and above. I think the carburator engine was a harder hitter, but the fuel consumption was even worse than the fuel injected, and the fuel injected isn't that great either.

I would recommend a 1992, like my year. I specifically looked for a 1992 for a good reason. 1992 was when they first switched their front disc brakes to bigger, vented disc brakes. Also, it was the last year when it came with 225hp stock, in 1993 I believe it was dropped to 215hp. They also used different pistons in 1993 that didn't allow for supercharging, I believe.

I'm 19 and I've owned my first (dream) car for two years now: '75 corvette stingray. It took me two years of minimum wage to turn it from a POS to a wet-dream.

dude get the 3000gt SL its an amazing looking car and its decently fast. All the other cars you listed are cool but this one just takes it all. Be unique dont get a Mustang.

If you really want him to be unique, he should get the lincoln mark v111... But ok, you can pretend it's not a bias...

nothing beats riding on air. go with the mark v111. ITs pretty fast and its a luxury car. You can take 5 of your friends in it and burn some rubber its a pretty light car and comes with a 5.0 HO.. Also if you like cars like this look at, taurs SHO, Cougar XR7, Thunderbird SC. These cars could probably be classified as sleepers cause no one thinks their quick.. well the SHO is kind of well known but take the XR7 off of overdrive and its suposed to be pretty quick.

Also if you want a really good first car. VW Pasat vr6.. i think these are great cars not the best for racing but look decent and are just nice cars.

I think the Passat, being a higher priced model, would have these problems fixed, but everyone I know with VW Jettas spend most of their time bringing their car to the dealership to get some kind of problem fixed. It's never anything really serious like an engine or transmission problem, but little things, like the brake lights stops working, or one of the headlights no longer come on, and none of these are bulb problems either. Then there are the slight electrical problems they are always encountering.

But other than the slight annoyances, VW's usually give you a lot of features for the price you pay, so it's pretty nice.

Those Lincoln are known to "blow" airbags frequently. But if you wanna get that i guess go for it. They are pretty fast too.

id go with the iroc. its a nice car that you cant do alot of mods to. its affordable but dont get the 305. you will get bored of it in a few years but if you get the 350 it will last you a long time if you take care of it

For once I would have to agree with you. Of your choices, that is what I would pick.

You sure bout that?? One of my friends has one and he's got the 4.6, i don't think they had 5.0's. the 4.6 did pump out 280 hp and 285 lb ft torque so they're not a bad engine, and i've driven my friends and they do have power, but bein 3700+ lbs they're not super fast or anything, but they have limited slip i think and will do close to 150 if not faster. I dont think it'd beat a 350 Iroc Camaro, but if the Camaro really runs a 14.9 I kinda wonder if the Lincoln wouldn't keep up with it. Out of those cars, I'd say get the Lincoln, fast as the others and it prob gets close to the best mileage and yea, will fit 5 people. Hell of a cool lookin car too.

I've always wondered why they stopped making the Lincoln Mark VIII, it's a very attractive car.

I am never sure... i remember reading that somewhere. All i know it the car isnt slow and it can move for what it looks like. The newer VII look alot better i dont know what years but the ones that were really rounded off look kind of like a bullet.

That they did, it was a good looking car. Yeah, they had some get up and go as well. One night will driving up main street I came across one. I ran him, and won, but not by as much as I thought I would.
