i have the alloy ones with the 4 holes.
they have some kind of coating on the metal that people have scratched up a lot.

there are a number of honda rims from those years, are they 13 inch? do they have a clear coating or a colored powder cote?

do they look like either of these:
My Rims (http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/AndrewSmit/aaa) (originally came on the Prelude so probably not)
Other rims i have seen (http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/album326/aaa) (apparently these were a dealer option on a number of honda models)

as far as i know those have some sort of clear cote on them, they also have a particular polish pattern right? well if your scratches aren't too deep you can always sand the clear cote and spray them with some new stuff. if the scratches go all the way to the aluminum it may be more difficult because you can't just sand them down to bare metal and polish them because of the buff pattern. unless of course you want super polished aluminum wheels ;)
i would call around some local body shops to see if they do that kind of repair, you can least ask around to find out who does.

thats good advice and i appreciate it. some parts are scratched and some all the way through. its only been about the past 3-4 years but everybody that has touched my car has been determined to ruin it. i have no idea why.

finally found a pic, took me a while.
4 hole factory rims (http://www.redpepperracing.com/gallery/album205/aaq)
ok, so my original thought was off, they do have grey powder code or paint on them, well depending on how bad the scratches are you will probably have to refinish them, Honda may even have a color code for touch-ups but i dont know for sure. the second part of my last post still applies tho.

how badly are they damaged?

and for click links you do this:

i called that place. they say they will strip and repowder coat for $109. Make them just like new. I definately appreciate the info. I'm gonna book mark them and get back with them later. It's nice to know there are people out there like that.
