Hi
im 13 and I plan on gettin an s2000. i have seen several pictures of some kick ass interiors and was wondering how the got the smooth look on the dash board. Does that come after you paint it or can you only get that with a fibergalss dash. Also what kind of paint would you recommend using.

hmmm now i know someone has asked about this recently but seeing as though ur 13 ill cut u some slack, to get that look there are two ways to go. Number one is to take the dash out sand it until it is smooth paint it the clear coat to make it nice and shiney. The second method is to use fiberglass in one of two ways, put a fiberglass coating over the orriginal dah sand and paint, or use ur dash as a plug to make a new truely fiberglass dash. the way i presented them are in the order of simplicity. For all practicallity they all have the same result

you can also use SEM's high build primer.. just spray, sand, and paint.. will look almost like a fg peice depending on your level of sanding
*so i've heard

You can also use a gelcoat, used to make boats, very very high gloss and strong! also using a gelcoat you can add some type of graphic
