convertible

Ok...so I have a 1985 88 olds and I want to turn it into a convertible. Is that even possible...b/c I am sure it is, but I don't even know if anyone can do it....if you know...please tell! thanks!

What kind of convertible? one with a retractible roof or top just gone completely?

I think you're better off to go buy a convertible. The cost of labor to do all that would be required seems prohibitive. Also don't let a shade tree mechanic do this if you decide to go ahead, you'll have a real mess on your hands. There are a million cars for sale in every large city, I'd buy one ready made if I were you and that's my 2 cents worth.
