LT-1 swap in '89

I'm new here but I do have one question... How much work would it take to put the engine and drivetrain out of a Vette into an '89 Caprice? Looking at maybe trying to suspension to but thats a different story. Could it be done at all? I looked at alot of the posts here but they are not very promising. Thats it... Looking at price though, is there a better idea? Could you take a 350 and bump up the HP enough to equal the Vette LT-1?... Thanks guys

You can do just about anything to a 350, any 350. They are by far the most popular small block. With the right parts you can put astounding numbers to the pavement with one. I think an earlier 350 would be your best bet. I just wouldn't bother with the hassle of an LT1. Keep it simple, and by simple I mean carbed rather than feul injected. This way you won't have to mess with computers or another wiring harness. :2cents:
