tranny swap

i own a 90' toyota supra turbo and have purchased a manual tranny from a n.a supra. i have all the hardware and things to bolt it up but was wondering one thing. do i need the driveshaft off off the n.a supra to install this manual into my automatic. if i do then exactly why is it that i would need to swap the driveshafts? bc both trannys are the same length. help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, W-58 specific parts include the W-58 DS, trans bracket, engine trans brackets, pressure plate, slave cylinder, TO bearing, clutch fork, and the clutch line. Why didn't you just get the R-154 for your turbo? What do you need to swap it? A couple wrenches/ratchets and a strong arm.

well my main question was if i do need to swap out driveshafts, then y is it that i would have to . what is the diff. between the two.

I'm not familar with those supras but when I was going to convert my na to TT I needed a TT Tranny because of the turboes, over time the boost would wear on the tranny causing it to break down. Don't know if that applies to you or not but it never hurts to get feedback on it, wish I could help you out though with your question.
