IF you like it, get it.

This kit is well made, it does have an engin so that mean extra work for you, but as I said before, if you take your time, any Tamiya Kit is easy !

btw, burago have nothing to do with those kind of model. burago are plainly toys that my 6 years old cousin can make.

as long as you take your time it won't be hard to build, you will need an x-acto knife, model glue, and various color paints as well as brushes and paint thinner or cleaner. Spray paint is suggested for the body, and depending on how much work you want to do sandpaper will help.

why not build the engine, just read the directions step by step and it will go together well

go out and get a good Xacto knife set (the one thats comes with several blades), and a par of snips, they make it alot easier to remove the part from the tree's. if you take you time and have some patience it should finish pretty good, I havent built a Tamiya Supra but i've heard the kit is fantastic

BTW, depending upon where you live, HLJ sucks, I tried to order something from them and it was twice the amount of the kit for shipping, I found it to be alot cheaper to go down to you local Hobby store and order a kit from them. . which is what I do when I wanna kit the hobby store does'nt have.

well - lucky you in israel we have only 2 normal hoby stores and they far from my house!

well i search in HLJ for an Xacto knife and i didnt fine any thing!

sorry on the damm q.s. but what is - snips!?

by the why i read the FAQ and i didnt understand which glow is the best to use!

Snips = Wire Cutters

Also depending where you live, check out Wal-Mart for hobby knives, and other modeling goods.

This is what Someone serious would need:

http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM87031
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM87067
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM74001
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM74040
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?TAM87062

Add to this Sandpaper (get some at your local store, tamiya one is too expensive)
you can get other brand if you want

You will need about 6 to 10 bottle of paint to start. Also a spray can and a Primer is highly recommended

Cool that you are going to start building models.

I like that Supra.

Don't make the mistake I did by working on a nice Japanese model and screwing it up.

You might want to purchase some cheaper models on sale or something, if they are available, locally. Practice on those to save some money.

You are probably going to pay close to 30$ for a mail order model.

Oh, the peops here are great they will help you out.

If you have a local hobby store ask about model car clubs.
You can learns lots from asking other modelers in person.

Take care
alfred

thank you for the tip!

let me tell you how israel like when we talk on models!

we have mybe 2 or 3 hoby shops in alll the country
i have a store near my house that wants 40$ for a models ( wrc impreza - tamya!)

so buy from rhe net is much better!

and yes we some faw clubs but the comman models in israel is the one you not make yourself its the one you buy open the box take out the car and poot on the shelf!

but i talk with some few people, but all they say was: " aoooo models i was building when i was young like you (i am) ow its only prepared models!

and yesssss the people here are great i amazed over and over again for the patience they give me in israel its like : stop asking, do the search, so dont build models we dont care....and so on...

but here OMG you are good people!

so very much again and when i have some money to buy to buy to model and the tools i'll update you ( because not me and not my parentes can afford 60$ so i have to wait until i'll find some job!)

so thank you very much!!!!
