Maintence light blinks..

Is there any way to read the main. light? It is not the check engine light. when i start my car it blinks 10 times then goes off. i was underway for about 6 days when i came back i started the car and it started doing this.. any help will be appreciated. thanks

that light will blink when there are scheduled service requirements needed. if the light blinks a few times right when you turn the car on, then turns off, it is just reminding you that you need some service of some sort. usually oil changes. you can reset the light when you change your own oil and stuff. the button is on the drivers side under the dash.

The light starts to blink automatically every like 5,000 miles or so. After 6,000 miles the light stays on constantly. It DOES NOT mean that anything is wrong with your car. It is just something that honda does to get people to get their car into the shop for a check up regularly. Could have something to do with why Honda's run for so long. But like I said above it does'nt nessisarily mean that anything needs to be done to your car, it happens no matter what after X amount of miles have gone by since the button was last re-set.

It starts off blinking like 5 times, then it goes to 10, and then it stays on constantly. Mine is on right now because I have been to lazy to push the re set button. But ya, it does'nt mean anything, just push it and it will go away for another 5,000 miles or so.
