should the gear oil in the tranny ever be changed?

YES CHANGE YOUR GEAR OIL AND MAKE SURE ITS FILLED PROPERLY, thats it u like a long lasting smooth gearbox LOL


no gear oil is not regular transmission fluid. It will specifically be called gear oil, 75w-90 is what some people use.

speaking of tranny stuff, i cant find my tranny fluid dip stick, on everyother car its got a yellow handle, and the oil is red or black. but on mine, the engine oil is yellow, and there is no tranny stick

and, on the right topic, how do you change your gearbox oil, and how expensive is it
