Pump that Fuel

Is there any way i can make my fuel pump less noisy and whinny? I sick of hearing that thing whin everytime i have to wait for a red.

Your fuel pump makes noise? I never hear mine over the engine idling (nothing's happened that makes it loud either).

I remember hearing from somewhere that they get significantly louder as they start to go bad, but I don't know if that's true or not.

Should i jsut buy a new stock one? Is it gonna burn some cash?

alot of the newer fp's make a loud whine noise

Im not worried about it breaking down But i just cant stand the noise.I usualy just crank up the music and i fades away but when i have a date.............urgh..

I had that problem when I added an electric fuel pump for the fuel injection conversion on my 71 Riviera. To fix it I took some small pieces of rubber and put a hole in them. I then bolted the fuel pump to the frame with the rubber as a washer. It made it a lot quieter. I'm sure Honda did something to make them quiet from the factory. Check to see if their is bad rubber on the mounts.

Yeah the rubber felt really weak and started to break apart.I just gonna do to ajunk yard and get a new rubber piece. or just seal it up with gasket compund.
