 I've finally found my brotheren! I've been a Skyline addict for a little over a year now. Ever since my friend took me for a drive in one, I was hooked. It's nice to finally find a place where there are other people that actually talk about and love and dream about and, well you get the idea. Well I'm off to get caught up on all the convo's and C-ya!

If I told you what I had in the works, I'd have to kill you! Let's just say that if everything works out, I'll be ordering my R34 v-spec II in a couple months. But then again I don't know if I should wait and see about getting a Japanese R35. Decisions decisions. Question?, has anyone else bought pricey skyline stuff that you don't really need?? I for one have bought magazines, books (and I can't even read the darn things), videos, all of a car that I don't even have!!!

Welcome.

I just ordered my R34 V-spec II 2 weeks ago and just got an email from the dealer this morning saying that my car will be delivered at the end of June. Clearing custom and inspection will take about 3 weeks or so. i should see my new baby by the end of July.:D BTW, did any GTR owner on this board got the GTR floormat? I didn't order the floormat because it costs way too much. I prefer to get a turbo timer instead.

How much did it cost to order it man?

Expensive?

I got it for 80K USD, but considered the tax in HK for cars is extremely high. Usually the same car in HK would cost approx 50% to 100% more than US.

Welcome Super accord (belated though...:D ) This is indeed a super forum. You see, I am from Malaysia and I am meeting all these Skyline freaks from the US etc. My advice, don't wait for the R35. Buy the 34 or 33 now and mod it up through your nose. If they change the 35's engine to a V (6s or 8s) or something other than the RB26 DETT, the 34/33/32s are gonna be collector's item man...I am going to keep my 33 even if I buy a 34!:flamer: And when the 35 come out, my 33 is gonna have 550 bloody horses firing from their stonking noses. Eat that !
BTW Igor, why did you puke on our new guest?:D

Well, I am a Skyline fanatic also. I prefer either the R33 or R35. I have heard that the U.S. will be importing them sometime soon, but sure as there is a sun, they will water it down to meet U.S. Regulations. My question goes to the peeps in here that either have them already or are about to get them. Do you have to change a lot of things in them. Emissions aside, what else have you had to deal with to bring one State side?

HOW CAN U PREFER THE R35 NO-ONE OUTSIDE OF NISAN KNOWS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE?
Motorex invested a large amount of cash to identify everything that needs changing/ modifying to make all the skyline model eligible for the US, aside from them no-one really knows everything required.
