cavalier body work

hey, just looking for a little help. i'm going to be buying a cavalier z24 this weekend. don't know the exact year but the body style is the same as the 96. any way it got in an accident and needs a passenger side door and front fender. i have a couple of questions. first does anyone know if the fender is bolted, riveted, or welded, and where a good place to look for the replacement parts might be. how muc of a project it is. any special tools i might need that you know of. thanx

salvage yard for parts, and the fender is bolted

Fender is bolted but there's a spot weld or two at each front corner (inline with the bolts) where it attaches to the fron support. You can drill it out.

my 98 had no welds, just bolts when i changed the drivers

thanks for the input. the fender beinng bolted sets my mind at ease at least this way i can do it myself without having to weld the thing back on.
