this product has been around for a long time, but i've never used it. it's inexpensive too. does anybody here use it? does it last a year like they say or close to it? does it have any abrasives in it?

Im surprized more people dont use it.And yea, that thing has been around for quite a while.Believe it or not,but it lasted for about 8 months for me,untill it stopped beading.I live in a dusty street.I DONT use dish soap, which will immediately strip it off.And I use a car cover most of the time.During the 8 month period,I never waxed or polished my car untill that started showing signs of it fading.I simply washed it about every 2 weeks.I dont believe that it has abrasives in it.I applied as the instructions would say,and no scratches were left.So really, its all in the condition that you have your car in.And how much you baby your car.

i use liquid glass which is easy to apply, & buff off. it leaves very little dust, & puts on a nice shine that lasts. it tasts a few months depending on the weather which is typical of any paint sealant. i use it on my motorcycle too.....

i've used Nu Finish and Liquid Glass.

1. Liquid Glass shines better than Nu Finish. But price wise isn't worth the extra money.
2. Nu Finish is an okay average wax, strong cleaning action though.

I would recommend for store bought wax: Meguairs Gold Class, or Mothers cleaner wax. Both shine good and last longer.
