Would I benefit from an itr tranny?

My synchros have sloooowly been going out, and within a year or so I'm going to get a new one. Will the gearing on an itr tranny do anything for me besides leave a larger hole in my pocket?

what plant are you gonna be running this itr on..any major mods ??

He has a B16B CTR motor.
It really depends on what you want out of your motor. The JDM ITR has the same 1-3 gears, but i tighter 4 and 5 and final drive. So it does accelerate faster, but at hte expensive of a little top end speed. Both have LSDs, so basically, if you want the same gears, either have that one fixed or get hte USDM one (exact same), or if you want to get a little quicker opt out for the JDM one.

I'm governed at 125mph anyways so that sounds better.
