Revell Monogram 1/24 Scale
Acura Integra
Left to do:
Mirrors (carbon fiber decals)
Custom Decals (still working on them)
Lights (Front and Back)
Side Windows
Let me know what you think…Should I tone down the panel line detail?

For the decals I am making a kind of Flame pattern in a dark blue with a black marble look.
I also have a carbon fiber decal ready to place on the hood that makes it look like the hood has been "torn" down to the carbon fiber.
I actually got the idea from someone’s real car I found pictures of on a website while doing research.
The engine bay was detailed primarily using a new line of Sharpies that has metallic Gold/Copper/Silver markers along with a regular black marker.
The markers were used to bring out the detail molded into the pieces.
If you mess up you can use a toothpick and rub it out with no damage to the paint.
Paint is just Tamiya Orange from a rattle can. I was going to airbrush it on but got impatient and just shot it in very light coats.
I found that if you get a cheap Styrofoam cooler from the store you can place the kit in this in between painting to make sure you don’t get dust or other contaminants stuck to the paint. Just make sure your kit doesn’t touch the lid when you close it up.

I will take better pictures of the engine today and post them.
The panel lines were done by using Tamiya Black with Tamiya Thinner (1:4 Ratio) A new knife blade was dipped into the mix then touched to the panel line. It is so thin it will spread on its own.
The rear windows are going to be faded into black...I think. I kind of like them the way they are.
You can still see through them into the back seat so I may not tough them. Also last night the interior had all lines on the seat drawn on with a gundam marker to make them visible through the "tinted" glass. I will take more pictures of interior as well.
Should I put a 5 point harness in? Or a standard seat belt?

I'm loving it, very clean build. IMO you shouldn't do flames, but it's your model.

^^ The perfect exemple that without adding any wire and only painting carefully you can have a brilliant engine. Good job
Just one thing, the seats lines are too sharp IMO. You used certainly a pen to paint them. You should have done a grey wash, it should look softer. But, hey, it's your model you do what you want. Just my 2cents.

I left them that dark because with the window tint I wanted to be able to see the seats through the windows.
I may go back and wash them now that I’m not going to tint the windshield and the front windows will not be up all the way.
Thanks for the feedback!!
