Which Would Win

What order would these cars come in on the 1/4 mile; what order on the track; windy mountain trails?

RX-7
NSX
supra
300ZX
GSX
3000GT
i say they are in this order in all racing courses, but after tuned, it should be between the supra,RX-7 and 300ZX.

1/4 mile: supra, 300zx, rx7, nsx, 3gt, gsx

I think that the rx7 would win, but it definitely doesnt have enough torque off the line. same with the nsx. the supra and 3z are similar in wieght and power so therye close, and the gsx doesnt have enough power to run in this class in the 1/4 and the 3gt has lotsa torque but lotsa weight.

track: i dont know what kind of track, so i cant say.

touge: rx7, nsx, 300zx, supra, gsx, 3gt

the rx7 has the balance and power to weight ratio that makes it perfect for tight mountain curves, the nsx has good balance as well but it will oversteer a bit on downhil. The 300zx only beats the supra because of the nissan's more balanced suspension. then the gsx and the 3gt come last due to horrible understeer.

Adding an EVO and a WRX would have evened this fight out.

I would put the NSX a lot higher in the list than some of you have...

sadly, the vr-4 is faster than the z in the 1320. it hurts me so much. i agree with demon that the nsx is probably the fastest of them all. but if i had a choice if i could own one of these cars, it would be of course the z.

Well, four twin turbo cars and one single snail monster. Which have similar bhp ratings ('cept the Supra)

I'd put the Supra first in the 1/4 mile, followed by the NSX, then the RX7, 3000GT, 300ZX, Eclipse.

On a track:
RX7, NSX, 300ZX, GSX, Supra, 3000GT

the one with highest potential will have to be the supra! 300ZX are nice, alot of aftermarket support, and can be almost as great as a supra. NSX...more of a showcar. i agree they are fast, and hang with the TT guys, but its better known for the looks. RX-7, spend half the time at shops. they are great engines and are well designed overall. the other 2, they suck.

Potential is meaningless. Its just another mod this mod that arguement which turns any comparison into a waste of bandwidth.


The VR4 isn't going to hang with most of the others on the twisties. I'd take the NSX or the RX7 to come out on top of that one. For the quarter its a close call, but having the Supra, 3000GT, 300Z, RX7, and NSX cross the line within a few tenths of each other is a likely outcome.

yes, i am tired of people bringing up having to mod the car. unless the thread starter states that there can be mods, don't talk about it.

anyways, it is weird to see a $80k car (NSX) compared to 15k-20k cars.

wow you guys have put my love last for the 1/4mile. saddens me. but i know not of an rx-7 running 13.4 nor the 300zxtt(no offence i love these cars) so i would say nsx 3000gtvr4 supra 300zxtt rx-7 and gsx for the 1320. for twisties i'd say nsx, rx-7, 300tt, supra, 3000gtvr4, and gsx.
reason i say gsx is behind, is because once straights hit the vr4 will zoom by depending on the course(i use to own a talon) so there is my vote.

btw the supra and vr4 are like identical in the 1320.

Wow some of you guys actually put the GSX ahaed of the VR4 in a drag race, that is shocking to me, last time I checked the GSX ran high 14s to low 15s stock.

6) GSX, sorry but the GSX doesn't even belong with these cars in a comparison.

I'm sorry Jimster, but do you seriously have a GSX ahead of a Supra on a race track, please explain?
