I am looking at the automotive paint. I was wondering will that stick to me car to begin with? Also is there a different way to prepair the car for painting.

Thanks
Sean

There are many types of auto paint. Is it spray paint? What brand?

I will be asking questions about it until I get enough info.

It should work, Im guessing its Duplicolor. Make sure you primer your model first.

If you are getting it from autozone, then get the 3 part kit. It is easy if you aren't a pro, I know i'm not.
Just make sure and have the body completely smooth b/c the paint will magnify any imperfections.
I believe the set has everything paint wise you need.
Do a search for flip-flop paint, chamelion (s/p), or color change paint. This topic has been discussed in detail before, you can get many answers by searching!

Common !
sorry to be hard, but if you don't know, don't give reply !

Duplicolor made a kit called "Mirage". it's basicly 3 spray can (Black Primer, Color, clear)

The paint is very good for plastic model and it won't hurt plastic. All instruction can be found on the bottle of it.
Easy to use, and good result.

I posted that hoping for more information soon. It should work. I do know that it should work. As long as it isnt a strong laquer.

i used finger nail polish on my dodge coronet and worked well.
the way it will work is the same you need to lay down a coat of black paint and sand smooth then lay down the color coat. i then used a polishing kit to polish the color up washed and then cleared and polished again

Duplicolor Mirage is the best looking color changing paint I have ever used. It is 20 buck's and come's with the black base coat, color and clear. Make sure you use a regular primer first. the black will etch the plastic.
