Fc Vs Fd

I have a question between the two latest generations of the RX-7.

1.Which Generation has the least problems that the rotary engine is known for? The second or third generation?

2.Which car is better off in circuit racing with entry speeds, cornerings, and exit speeds?

3.Which car is better off in a drag race?

4.Are there many after-market parts for the Second Gen RX-7?

5.And last of all, what would be your choice, after-market RX-7 (tune to about 300 horses) or the stock Evo with a few mods (also pushed to 300hp). Please also consider the problems I'll have to face (i.e. engine problems, aftermarket parts, installing parts, ect.).

well this guy is askin legit questions, the other one was "if both cars have same mods, single turbo and what not"

Least problems goes to N/A FC

circuit it's going to be the FD, that's why they're in Super Stock in Autocross

in a drag race it'd probably be the FD again, that's if it's stock just cuz it has more power than the N/A and turbo II FCs

Yes, there are lots of aftermarket parts for the FC, there is a post that has a whole bunch of RX-7 links with aftermarket parts and such, take a look there.

I'd take a stock FD over a modded evo since the FD is a pure sports car and has better lines.

if you want a sexy eye-catching car get an FD but if you want a sleeper get an FC... thats about the only difference because they are both amazing and have great potential... and both turbo models have about the same amount of problems... non-turbos are about as reliable as you can get in any type of car
