1994 Escort WAGON

i have a total stock 94 escort WAGON. does neone know anything about any websites that SPECIALIZE in escorts, or have a great focus on them (on all aspects, especially body kits, and engine improvements)?

besides cork sport if u can.

also, can i put in a larger engine? if so, whats the max that i can put in without modifying too much (of course i dont expect much)?

btw, is it possible to modify it enough to put a 454 engine in the trunk (and make the car work....)? and then to convert the original engine area into the trunk? lol, just kidding..unless...

this is also strange, because i DON'T remember reading this EXACT same thing in your post....hmmm....maybe you should read other ppl's posts more carefully in the future, since they may also ask about engines, too

Here is my wagon I've dpne all the engine mods im going to do other then maybe the pulley, here is a list of mods and its pic

Port and Polished Head
Mustang 3.6L Throttle Body (w/modified linkage and semi ported intake)
Air Intake (by Weapon/R -fit horribly needed and took 4 shipments to get all the parts)
Header (Cant remember manufacturer but only 1 company makes it)
Free Flow Cat
Some Cheap Muffler (Turbo??)
Cam Grinded (Took cam to web-cam i live about 20 min from them, they could only grind i believe the duration and there is no adjustment to valves) added some topend/higher rpm limit
Did the Cold Air trick making the car think its runing cooler to raise the timing and increase performancee

Added clear corners(found them for 34 bucks on web dont remember company not in pic)
Steering wheel from PepBoys :)
Pedals and Shifter
Coils from ??? cant remember was for escort 2" drop plus i cut another 2 coils
Stereo is sony + 600watts in 2 apms plus 2 12"

With some modification, yes.

what is a good guess on a price for a 2.0L engine, or should i look for another way to add housepower?

hey there are alot mods that you could do without putting a new motor
i willonly tell you some of them because i want some of them to be a surprise just in caseof certain people seing this but

dude, its july 2005...i asked that in january 2002...lolim a proud owner of a probe GT, and yeah i know alot more about cars now. what have you got done to the 'scort?

The 454 is way to heavy for the Escort's suspension. I recommend a small jet engine. Downside is you have to drive with the rear hatch open. :naughty:

i have hjust have the basics done to it right now. i have the stock muffler cut off awaiting the catback that i am getting next week. When i get done with the scort i am going to be running atleast 200 hp. including running 12psi all day long on a stroked 1.9L Turbo. Plus right now i just got done with the stage 1 wait reduction
