dont really know too much about this company but the engines seem very compact and could be very usefull because there probably light too, the website also show an engine in lotus/caterham 7, noticed that horse power is quite large compared to torque does this render them useless for heavier cars?

depends on your gearing. you can move anything with the proper gearing... you could put down say 500t/lbs to the ground in first gear.

What i always wondered what happens to the torque band after gearing? I know torque would increase but what would the curve look like from the enigne because of the lower output speed. would it be like taking a 10,000 rpm torque curve compressing it into 5,000 rpm and multiplying the ammount of torque.
