Ok...this is going to be hard to explain but i'll give it a go...

FIRST OF ALL...My car is an automatic....Ok...your queue to laugh...:(

Ok...finished?!...great...:D now the problem....

When i turn corners...say turning right around a roundabout...i slow down...brake...and after i turn...i accelerate...like how you normnally drive around a roundabout......

When i accelerate after turning right....the whole car shakes...and struggles to launch...and after shaking....its ok....get what i mean!?

Its kinda like when ya driving a manual...and ur in first gear and you accelerate after turning...the car kinda shakes...

Get my problem?

Is it the petrol?...what is it?...transmission?....i got a service...and i explained the problem...but like all problems...when u have the guy sitting in your car...the problem doesnt happen...until you get home!!!!

Help!?

Hard to tell on a description. Check that the CVs/driveshafts aren't touching any of your suspension (you're lowered as I recollect). I had an issue with the driveshafts rubbing when the car leaned into a corner.

Take it to an auto trans specialist - maybe it isn't kicking down the gear it needs to?

BTW - manual drivers do NOT brake into corners! We gear down instead - I hate ppl that brake all the way around a corner (damn auto drivers :p )

Yeah maybe it is the gearbox not changing like it should.
Sometimes when i try to go up carpark ramp in 3rd gear and the car shakes...is that what you mean by when it shakes?
BTW: i had respect for your car until i found out it was an auto  j/k :D

I used to have exactly the same problem (felt like it had a block in the exhaust on med to heavy throttle, and the felt like the block suddenly went away over 3000-4000rpm)...the Honda techs could never work out what it was! I got the fuel filter replaced, had the leads and plugs checked, got it tuned, had the fuel flow tested, compression tested, the box checked and still couldn't diagnose.

My answer....get rid of the engine and box and replace with a manual B18C teg motor and box...that should fix your problem;)

That depends - I know a few girls who will only drive manuals - some of them don't really command respect behind the wheel. Do you have little furry animals on your dash and rear shelf? :p

All the gals in my family will only drive manuals....and no...I don't have any furry animals on my dash, or rear shelf :silly2:

Not like MSFTO - giant Pokemon on her dash...total rice

Haha....yeah

but I'm also at one of the other forums trying to catch up on my other posts as well at the same time as replying to these posts :)

I used to have a chinese knot thing with a tiny little rock pig on the end hanging from the mirror in my old civic. I bought it from the asian temple in berkley, it was just a symbol of the year of the pig - the year I got my licentiate diploma in music.

Cool. One of my 1G Civics I painted IPEC yellow (way before honda got on the bandwagon) with black highlights. A friend bought me a clip-on Mr Doobee which was clipped to the rearview mirror :D

Heh - I'm on the 4G forums and the performance forums mIRC channel :)

I've been advised by my sister don't get too friendly on that forum as most of the people on there are yobbos and don't like hondas very much. There is a smaller group of honda people on there. Besides most of the people on there are her boyfriends friends...enough said.

lol - seems to be mostly bent 8 and turbo enthusiasts there - and yes, I could see some anti-rice sentiment. Unfortunately a lot of ppl associate Hondas to rice - even in stock trim. There's a City turbo owner on there though - I thought that was pretty cool :)

Oh....I haven't noticed about the City Turbo.....you're not talking about the pictures I posted are you??

Yep...mostly turbo enthusiasts...but be careful I have a twin there...nick is spunkymunky...notice the spelling.

I got freaked out when I saw the nickname, asked him as I was curious why the same nic and he said he always uses that nic, except when he got to this forum, I took the spelling. Freakier thing is he drives the same car as me

Heh - saw a spunkymonk(e)y post somewhere too - wasn't sure if it was you though.

not having to swap hands and lift your shoulders to your head to hold the phone while driving a manual aye? hehehehe

Anyone that uses a mobile without hands free in a car is a fool, an idiot and an accident waiting to happen. Twice I've been hit by idiots concentrating on the phone and not the road.

Beside - auto + 4cyl = slow acceleration and little control around corners. Ever seen a auto driver ride the brake around a corner or a bend? It's because they have no control over the car other than the steering wheel. Not all auto drivers of course, but most.

Unlike txt msging its easy to do. I know a few people who concentrate so hard on txting that they hit a parked car. The ultimate crime!!!!
