I heared there's going to be a major change in the interior of the G35 and increase of horsepower in 2005, does anybody know anything about this?

I've heard there is going to be an interior redesign from the B-pillar forward. This makes sense considering this seems to be the only negative that Infiniti has experienced with this vehicle. In regards to hp, I have also heard that this isn't going to happen, which would also make sense as it would cannibalize 350z sales (unless this gets hp upped as well). I hope the interior changes are true, as this is the only aspect that is making me currently consider purchasing a TL as opposed to the G35.

the TL is nice, but its a completely different car then the g35. G35 is rwd and is more of a 2 person car (its small). TL is rwd and a family car!! Two different options completely

hey guys im from the 350z forum and i know about the changes that are to come in 2006, get this- the new g35 is going to have all-wheel-drive and nissan/infinity is thinking about using the super HICAS system(for those who dont know what that is, its an all wheel steering system). it may use the same vq35de engine but may come twin turbo charged making it a vq35dett or the new g35 may even come with a V8. it will esentailly be the same as the new r35-GTR Skyline! thats right, a complete change not just a redesign! hope that answers all your questions and i hope to get all your thoughts on this.

The G35 can also come as a 4dr sedan now. Also according to the Infiniti website, the 2004 sedan currently comes with a AWD system. And I've seen the comercials to. :P

Stop posting this.
Anyway, it looks like the '05 G35 will be getting a makeover similar to the '05 Altima's, namely a better interior and a little more power. Great news.

You're not gonna get any more ponies out of the 35-DE motor unless you resort to artificial breathing - that's the most likely change. Shame you guys don't get any R34's over here (apart from grey imports), now THAT'S a beastie car!
