I'm thinking about buying a 1995 s-10 Pickup - 2wd - Ls Model for $1500.00. Does anyone know if it's expensive to add Air Condtioning? Would i have to go to the dealership for that or can I have it done elsewhere? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

yes, an aftermarket ac is very expensive....you have to buy the compressor, evaporator, condensor, hoses, refrigerant, and not to mention how hard it will be to install all that in the truck.....better off just usin the 90 m.p.h air condtionin' and roll 'em on down

Go to salvage for the ac...probably can piece one together pretty reasonable...

I like the window idea.If you have a truck with no AC,that means everything would have to be bought and installed, not to mention the headache.Buy something with it.

I had a 94 that didnt come with air although it had the vents in the dash, i went to a junk yard and found a s 10 with air it was a years different. but i found everything i needed on one truck to put the a/c in mine. it is still blowing cold. it is a weekend job, even though your truck did not come with air thge body panels and firewall are all made the same at the factory. it cost me $ 200.00 for complete parts and then the cost of freeze 12 refregerant.
