Head Job

So we bought a 1990 CRX 1.6 L SI from this dude on ebay. Apparantly, there was a head job done on it not long ago, which meant that oil would run through it quickly. He told us that it would go away after driving aroung for a while. We had to drive it back from Chicago to Minnneapolis, and it was still burning oil off super fast. We went through 4 quarts in less than 500 miles! We took it in to the shop, they said whoever did the job sucked at it, so now we may have to get the head job redone, which is gonna cost $1200+. To spend less money, we are considering buying a brand new head and putting it in ourselves. We have the tools, but we don't know where we can buy one and for how much....

Ya, for that price, I'd say just get a new head - you should be able to find one cheap - less than $200 pretty easy.
