Hi all Thanks for the reply. CES was the feature on my 91 VR4 that made the 2 miles of dirt road bearable, now with the spyder---rattle rattle rattle. The spyder has the CES button however wont depress, nor does it have CES written on it. Also does my 96 spyder have AWS & will it's stock white leather interior make it a bit more rare? Thanks John ]Ps think I should change my user name & if so how do I do that?

I have the ECS and AWS on my 95. I’m pretty sure they got rid of the AWS on the VR4s in 96 and since the Spyders are on that platform, they would have lost it too.
As far as I can tell the ECS should be on your car. Perhaps it went unused for many years and the button is just stuck. ...... Dirt road? Nasty place to take a car with wide sticky tires

As for changing your name – Igor (the system administrator) is the only one who can do that. Considering you only have six posts here, you might consider making a new name and using that one instead.

Thanks Yogs for the reply, The Spyder only has 14k miles on it most likely because of the dirt road . I keep it down in town in a heated grage and drive my 87 Honda or a dodge 4/w PU. It seems that the spyder is allways in the sports mode. The button is not frozen, no light on the dash, even when the egnition is in it's first position (key turned one clik clockwise) If I want to drive the Spyder more, I'd like to get a softer ride for the dirt road I know it's a little bass ackwards but it hurts to hear the gal rattle. Thanks I hope the Av's and Wing's meet in the playoffs.
