90 escort gt mods

i just bought a 90 escort gt 5spd (for 200$ i might add) and it runs and drives fune. it is actually pretty quick for a 1.9...but i would like to have some more hp... i want to put some money into this car like; cam, rockers, pistons, crank, sleeves, bearings, intake, exhaust...i would like to build the motor up pretty good. OR.... if there is a motor swap(2.0-dohc or somethin) that is a bolt in,i could do that too. if anyone has any info please let me kno. thanks

i remember that a few diff maza motors might fit, i dont think anyone has done a 2.0 zetec swap from a zx2 yet, but you can look in to it. It would be something I'd like to see
