AEM or Injen will be nice, either one really doesn't matter
As for exhaust, there are a ton of choices
Nismo
Tanabe
Stromung
Greddy
I've heard all but the Stromung, and they all sound deep, but they all have their own unique tone and look.

Go for a Nismo Air intake! In fact, everything you put in your car should be Nismo. Your warranty won't suffer as much.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about?
Have you even heard of s-tune and r-tune parts?

From my experience, the INJEN intake easily sounds the best on the Spec-V.

I decided to go with the NISMO cai
cost just as much as the Injen
Im still looking for the cat back
I like the Tanabe but its too expensive
also is theS SHOheader the best for the V a buddy told me they tend to crack
not specifically on e the v but on others like the civic
aight peps it should be coming tomorrow
very excited

SHO header? Never heard of it. Either go with Hotshot or Nismo for the header. And as for the exhaust, If I were you, I'd be looking into the Greddy Evo.

I've never heard of a hotshot cracking on a spec-v.

I have the AEM CAI, HS Header and Vibrant Exhaust combo.... The Vibrant is awesome sounding, I used to have a Bullet Performance exhaust and it is night/day between the 2...
http://www.shiftva.com/cornutspecv.html is the link to my car.... I don't have any updated pics since I installed the Vibrant cat-back though... kinda hard to take pics while I'm in Iraq too...

I have the Greddy EVO II exhaust and AEM CAI, they sound awesome together. I'm thinking about getting the HS Header right now, and yeah I've heard about them cracking, but it was like two people out of a thousand, plus HS is very quick about their warranty, they WILL take care of you if it cracks. However, i have heard about a fitting problem with the HS header and the Greddy EVO II combo. They say that the header pipe is too long or osmething, and you might end up cutting the exhaust pipe or soemthing. HOwever, I heard the newest gen. HS header fixed this problem. Once I get the money in a couple of weeks, I will buy the HS header. $340 shipped :naughty:

K&N TyphoonCold Air Intake isnt a bad deal either...My friend got his off e-bay for $209...Ive seen it elsewhere for about $250...Made a vast improvement in sound and power through out the r.p.m. range and mad improvement over 5k...The kit was of quality, the aluminum parts had a nice polish & the hose clamps werer nice looking stainless w/hex heads. It can be used as a cold air(driver fender) or as a shorty(engine bay)...As far as exhaust ive got a Megan racing stainless cat back(2.5 ") on my '91 SE-R...My friend is thinking of getting the same for his '02 Spec-V...Its about one of the only 2.5" systems for yours and its $350...My system came with all gaskets and stainless bolts and i put it in myself on my back in half an hour...Its a good deal

i drive a 2002 ser non spev v and as far as intake goes i just go an aem cold air, its' smog legal pending so make sure u put your stock intake on before u get it smogged if u live in cali and as far as headers go i got stillen, i dont have any complaints on them. the headers i got are non cat back and they came with a down pipe and the company was promising 17hp to the wheels. You can get nismo parts if u want but all of them are hella expensive and u can just do a lot of researching and find parts that do about the same without the famous "nismo" logo on them.
