what springs did you go with? how much did you drop the thing, it looks a lot lower than mine. but then on the other hand i only had my stock wheels on for a day when i did so i didnt really focus on it enough to remember how much of a gap there was between tire and wheelwell. anyways.... LOOKIN GOOD Ripin...

if your looking for some wheels let me know... The kid i sold my old wheels to is thinking about selling them... 245/45/17 kuhmo tires (new) on enkie CDR-9s, click my link to check them out on my cardomain page if you want...

Thanks guys,

Im pretty sure I droped it atleast 2" if not alittle more. Havent measured it really, just dailed them down till it looked good and even.

Took the car in for some body work so I only had 2 days to play around w/ the height. Where the front is now is as low as i can go without bottoming out on the speedbumps at my apt. complex.

Overall the ride is very nice, very tight.

Front;

HELD coilovers 425lb spring w/ KYB struts

Back

B&G springs w/ stock struts

Looks awesome sir. I like the way it makes your car sit. Looks very mean!!!! Where can the B&G springs be bought from? I want a set after seeing your ride.

You can get the B&G's @ http://www.3800performance.com

But remember, I only have the B&G's on the rear. B&G's will not drop the front as much as you see in my pics.

You'll need coilovers for that.

Thanks Ripn12s. 1.2" is plenty for me to help with cornering. I don't want to go much lower than that. That will be just about perfect.

Take care....

How the ride feels? Did you got the bounce effect? That is what I would love to do the car next? Did it change the allignment setting much? Looks SWEET!!!

The ride is real nice.

There really is no pogo w/ the coilovers, expecailly w/ the 425 lb springs. Overall ride is nice and tight, taking curves is real fun now w/ hardley any body roll compared to stock.

Almost everyone w/ coilovers has complained about a slight vibration when accelerating from a stop and then again from 60 -70 mph. We think it is because of the huge drop possible and the fact that the stock axles have a different angle thus causing the vibration.

I can release the wheel when driving down the street and the car continues going straight. I will be getting an alignment done and also new brakes. I think those 2 things alone w/ kill most of the vibration.

You think could get broken tranny terminals sooner because of this mod? How much did you spent overall? And let us know what happes after the wheel allignment.

350 coilovers
110 b&g's
110 new front struts
003 cutoff wheels to modify the struts
005 spray paint

600 bucks and it looks great. I would like to see how the tranny terminals react to the lower hight and how the vibration behaves after the wheel allignment. Because if durability is basically the same and the vibration is barely noticeable it trully worth it.
I am asking about durability cause I met someone that did a very similar job lowering an I-mark and the only problem he had so far is that the tranny terminals really get all messed up rather quickly

You could lower it w/ just regular lowering springs. It wont be as low and there should be no vibration

That is better and the springs are bolt on. Is that the roads around here are not that good and since I work on the road most of the time I need at least the same reliability that I have now.

Did you had a hard time installing the grills. I got them but the Idea of chopping down the screw lobes do not really excite me that much

i did not chop down the screw holes. No need to

OK, here is the deal. I ordered the Eibachs and my dad tells me that I need more in order to get a decent ride quality. he said that lowering the car wit hthe Eibachs will change the camber/caster. He said that to get rid of the bounce I need shorter struts. If all this is correct then where I would get the shorter struts(From what car I can borrow them) and what about the caster and the camber?

Just use new KYBs w/ the GT MIKE mod and you should be good.

Read this link.
