where in the crap is the thermostat sending unit?.....i looked where its supposed to be...but its not there....any ideas?

thermostat or temp sending unit?
if its the thermostat, just go buy a new one and put it where its supposed to be cause it sounds like the last person took it out and didnt put on in.
if its the temp sending unit its on the back of the block above the oil filter.
