taking power mirrors apart

i am trying to install led lights on my 95 jimmy side power mirrors. i cant reach the wires so i assume i have to get behind the glass to get to them. can anyone tell me the best way to get to them. thanks alot

The side mirrors are attached with either 2 or 3 bolts throught the door. To get to them, you have to take off the inside door modling, you can then remove the bolts, unclip the power connection and play with it form there.
